Was just wondering what is the status of passage between Gladstone & Keppel Bay via The Narrows due to the LNG construction. I'm heading up that way in August.

I'm sure I read in another forum the Narrows are still open, apparently there is quite a bit of traffic to and from the project that you mention.

If you are going to do the Narrows, it also means you will also be doing Gladstone Harbour.
A big heap of commercial traffic still there with a strict radio protocol and set of give way rules.
I recommend you contact the Gladdy Harbour Board by phone and find out the situation well before you go there.
Outside you will find 20 or more ships waiting in the roads for their turn to go in.
I think you would be better off going around the outside like four buffalo girls.
