Found this boat on boat point,reads well but as you no,I'm a novice,this boat has had a price drop from 25k down to price as advertised 18k,would this boat suit a first boat buyer like my self and easy to sail (solo) i like the look of the living quarters anyway thanks for any info in advanced

Certainly well priced. Tiller steered with a central mainsheet traveler and a furling headsail and lazy jacks, all basics needed for solo sailing. Stack pack/sail cover on the boom and it would be fine coastal cruiser. Fresh water cooled diesel is a bit of a bonus. Seafarer sounder too!
Austral were builders of mainly trailer sailers, upmarket ones at the time. Not sure how many keel boats they built. This boat certainly looks good value.

Thanks Romano sounds good boat for me,I should go and have alook at it even just to get some exsperience,im not quiet ready just yet,but still won't do any harm,sounds like he wants to sell so he mite come down even abit more,then I'll have to buy it haha
