I am after a smaller trailer sailer and as an aspiration a macgregor 26 in the future. It was because of this I stumbled on an old ad for a Macgregor 24 which sold. I wasn't aware of this smaller version and it looks good in the ad. I like the Macgregor 26's I've seen so am tempter but have only been able to find that single sold one advertised. Are these things rare? Any owners care to share a review?

Totally different boats. The 24 just sold is a fixed keel not a ts
I do not believe many of the 24's hit Aussie shores.
The 24 ts in the US is NOT water ballasted as is the 26
