Congratulations on the new boat Craig. I imagine a Red Witch on a trailer would come in at no more than 1,500kg and just about any 6cyl motor car should be able to handle that.
What did the previous owner tow it with? Could he or she possibly tow it to where you want it to be stored?
As for a V6 Falcon, you will have a tough time finding one. Fo Mo Co were talking about powering future Falcons with the global V6 but as yet have not made that move. So as far as I am aware all Falcons are powered by an in line 6cyl engine or a V8 engine.

The Red Witch originated in W.A. and was designed with a lowerable rig for negotiating the bridge at Freo and there is a very strong class association over there.
If this is your first yacht you have made a very good choice. Red Witch sailors I expect would be like most other sailors, gregarious and extrovert so joining a club such as South Perth Yacht Club, with a sizeable Red Witch Fleet would be a good idea.
If you don't live in Perth there are apparrently many other Red Witchs located at the various coastal towns north and south of Perth.
Here is a good place to start.
