Gidday

First post, although I've been lurking for a while.

I'm looking at a couple of boats - a Northwind 18 and an Investigator 563.

The Investigator has a near new Parsun which I've never heard of, and as both are the same ask, I would appreciate any advice, comments, whatever.

Thanks in advance.

G,day Mcgee, welcome to the forum. Tell us a little bit about why you,re leaning towards these particular boats and where you intend sailing them. If you pop over to www.trailersailerplace.com.au/ you will get a heap of good info there, but feel free to post here as well. Also some links to the boats you are looking at would be good.
Cheers
Ken

Thanks for your reply, Ken

I crew on a larger boat but I spend most of my time with my head "in the boat" and would like to putter around myself. As I have V6 Toyota and feel disinclined to get involved in a 4WD these two sort of popped up.

Basically Moreton Bay on a good day (if it looks like >20kts I'm staying home) and possibly Wivenhoe. See how that works and if OH copes OK we may go further afield but definitely enclosed waters.

I read an article about changing the jib on an Investigator and thought that I didn't need that much complication, but it's about time to ask for advice.

Appreciate your help.
