They only have the one depot in Tassy, but other courier companies would deliver to them. They are a retail business, so you don't need to be a business, unlike some other freight companies.
I have a Norvane windvane, very similar to the Fleming, being solid and heavy duty stainless steel. It is about 20kg, and flew here from California. All things are possible; there will be a local freight company with business links to deliver it to you, wherever you are. So long as it get into the receiving depot, from the seller.

Pack and send are over the top with their price. Cheaper to fly there and pick it up yourself. Try Couriers Please I think they operate in all states.

Couriers Please are cheap for a reason!
Definitely the worst courier company in oz, if not the worst business!
check the reviews on the internet first before using them, I was very disappointed.....could have walked to the supplier and picked it up myself would have been quicker.
couriers Please.....No Thanks

I've had a couple of good experiences with E-go. All net based, competitive prices... as above, Pack & Send are very expensive.

Was in interstate road transport for a lot of years till I sold to Toll a few years ago.

Tassie has a few differences as there's no bridge although things may have changed in last 10 years. No bridge?
a. Price would be secondary for me . I would be looking for one carrier point to point for personal item if possible.
If a small courier .
b. Ask how they ship off the island and how often. ie. by trailer on the Spirit or whoever
or by container. If by container be aware they will only send when it's full
and iff they are filling containers by State it may take a day or two to fill.
c. Is there tracking all the way.
d. who they use on the mainland.
e. Go by recommendation from a Taswegian who uses their services.
Address the item in clear bold letters on top and on the side. and if they supply address label with peel off barcodes put one on all sides.

Hi Rumble it is just south of Hobart the gentleman I bought it off said he could drop at depot he got a quote down there but was very expensive compared to Tnt quote .
There is no huge rush as I still got to find an address to get it delivered to as I am transient on my boat .

$220 the best quote.
It would be almost that price to fly there and back, plus excess baggage on the return flight. And you get to meet the seller, check the quality and how to operate the windvane, and have a short overnight holiday there if you wanted to.
It's one option, depending on your time commitments.

Pack and send quoted me $100.00 to send a lap top computer from Darwin to Brisbane and that was not even express.

As a matter of interest what's the size of the box.
The calc used to be road 250 kgs per cubic metre
or dead weight whichever is greater.
Thr basic fee for a one off would be at least $50 and the minimum
per consignment ,well that depends if they want the job.
