It is a sad day that we see another Australian Designer sets sail to a far away place, we all know that the designs were truly Australian,
I sailed on Boomerang 7 a Joubert design in the Sydney to Coffs race long ago.

Oh dear, vale Professor Joubert.
A long way from home, I saw one of his boats (Brolga, Magpie or Currawong) in Moorea, French Polynesia, a testimony to his brilliant skills as a yacht designer.
