Hi,

If anyone is looking for crew or knows someone in the area from Mandurah to Freo. could they PM me with details. I'm available as a spare set of hands to sail either Saturday or Sunday, occasional twilights, some experience mainly cruising, fit, 40, female.

Thanks.

Hi , I'm looking for crew for Saturday arvo club/state heat races on the river , the boat is a SS22 penned at Claremont Y C ; we dont compete for sheep stations , but its nice to stay in contact with the fleet . sailing on the river is way more exciting , lots of boats , short legs to marks , plus a great club to have a beer at and chill out.
Chris. p.s. I could help with transport , as I drive to the club from Baldivis

Come on Poods. I am sure she will fit in if she can make breakfast pancakes to the tune of "We didn't stare the fire!!".

Can you repost that video?? It has been bugging me for the last 6 months and I can't find it on the Choobe.

chilla, pop into mandurah offshore fishing and sailing club. the skippers there often take on crew with any experience for racing (as do most clubs) or twilights. friendly mob.

Fremantle Sailing club keep a list for when skippers need crew,
they get emailed the list when requested and start ringing.
It will be very simple to get a birth if you contact the sailing club
nearest to where you want to sail.

Don't think I could be bothered hanging around and 'hustling', what ever that entails, anyway thanks for the advice something will come up and if not no big deal.

Hi Chilla,

Dont worry about the nonsense the punters give me in this forum - I get no respect.

Seriously, Freshie are very organised with getting crews onto boats - If you want to venture a bit north of the river. Rock up on a sat around 12-12.30, you'll see Barry under an umbrella on the drive up to the club house - He's very good at matching new crew to boats (river racing)

We are always looking to add new crew to our pool of resources - But we need a serious commitment, and passing the "FIFO" test

You can also post something on: http://freodoctor.com.au/ Under features you will find a crew finder link.

Good luck with it - Let us know how you go.
