Hi,
I am wondering does anyone have any idea of the best areas to head to from Mooloolaba to do some whale watching? We'll be on our Cav 28.
Are any areas better than others and is any time of day better than another? Or is just head east and hope...?
Cheers

They tend to be further out on there way up and closer in towards end of season as They have there baby's with them and more playfull. Try to follow whale one (whale watching charter boat. But bit hard in slow sail boat)

Look for the whale watching boats on AIS for a likely area.

Hi Cockpit,
next Saturday you're going to have the Bris to Keppel and the Bris to Hammo fleets come (hopefully) storming past you, so you could kill two birds with one stone and come and have a laugh at us poor sods lined up like lemmings sitting on the rail
