I am planning to have this weekend up there.
My options are RMYC at Broken Bay $55 per night for a berth.
RPAYC at Newport $70 per night for a berth.
Pick up a mooring.
Anchor.

Pick up a mooring in Towlers Bay, it's sheltered from South, West and North. Great spot.

Sam,
It looks good.
Is there a good time in the afternoon/evening to start looking?

Hi up to Refuge or Jerusalem Bay or Castle Lagoon. Much better.
If Pittwater alongside is a must go to the marina below the Newport Arms or the RMYC for a good feed and a few drinks.

A berth is okay after few day in the wild, but I vote for Refuge Bay, nice to wake up under waterfall at the end of the Bay.
Moorings a plenty if you don't like anchoring. You can nip over to Patonga for lunch the next day, the pub rocks there!
cheers Richard
