Many kind and expert sailors have advised us that, for an effective trip up the coast in our little 28', we'll need a whisker pole.

I guess 1.5 to 2 inches diameter and around 3.2m long is about right. (There's mixed units for you!)

There do seem to be spare ones around, but can't find anything near our location - no car of course.

Anyone know of one near Camden Haven. I'll update our location as we go.

Eventually we'll hit the big city and can buy some ends and pole I guess.
