Buying genuine parts is usually quite expensive so those of you that have one of these engines may be able to save a few dollars here or get these parts where there is no Yanmar Agent.

Engine oil filter. Donaldson P502067. Cross reference to other brands.

Anodes. They are 20 m daimeter and 33 mm long. You get 20 mm zinc rod, cut it into 33 mm slugs, drill them 8 mm through the middle and bolt them into the plug with 8 mm x 45 mm bolts. I think high tensile would be better than stainless.

Alternator. It is an Hitachi unit that may be found in Nissans and Subarus. The important measurement is the space between the mounting lugs which is 80 mm.

Starter Motor. It is an Hitachi ISO 08L, S-114-230. The spigot is 90 mm diameter and the sprocket is 35 mm diameter. We could not find an equivalent listed in the starter motor catalogue so it may be a motor made exclusively for Yanmar.
