Im not sure what you are saying Dezman. Is my Clanny the best deal or you reckon the pacific 36 is better. Its $25000 more and needs a new engine and rigging. Shotchas, from what I know his budget doesn't allow that.
Cheers
Billy
Your's canny sounds like a good deal and for someone on a budget it's a steal, gee how cheap do we have to sell our boats I don't know!!!
But Shotchas has set his mark at 40,000 and the pacific is a lot of boat, a new engine at 7000 plus fitting it he needs to buy at 30,000.
I would say if he can't stretch the money towards $50,000 all up for a comfortable ocean yacht then go with yours to be out there having a ball.
I don't know where my quoted budget figure of 40k came from, it must have been someone else as mine is a lot lower. (Over 60, unemployed, not much chance of finding another job, so reckon may as well go sailing and enjoy the time I have left to do things!)
Billy, I don't think I'll be coming to look at yours soon. I'm still waiting for a mooring so nowhere to put one at the moment unless it's out of the water.
I just had a 1,700Km round trip by motorbike over two days to look at the last one. Bloody awful trip with road works every five minutes up the Bruce Hwy, must have been stopped a hundred times. Took the inland road back, managed to miss the emus and roos (only just) while traveling - ahem - pretty fast

, then got stung with a speeding ticket for $366 at Gayndah, followed by road works all the way back as far as Coolangata.
Ok, got that off my chest.
The cop was nice to me. His radar said 135 and he put me down for 130 which saved a couple of hundred.
Dezman, if yours is still around by the time I get a mooring, and not rusted out from sitting so long, I would be interested to have a look.
Cheers guys.
