I would like Some advice on a jump starter for a diesel on my sailboat ?

If your system is 12 volt, I have one similar to this. www.projecta.com.au/jumpstarters-products/intelli-start-12v-1500a-professional-lithium-jumpstarter-jeh4c-k8b88

It's never failed to start anything I've put it up to. Most battery shops, Repco and other parts stores sell similar. The good thing about these is the size and weight compared to the old style. Only weights a kilo.
