My brother in law Peter has one, or shares in one.

They seem happy with it. He is on the forum sometimes as "sailorpete" or something like that.

Boat is in pittwater, you could PM him for advice.

They were the boat of choice for cruising years ago

yesterday some older fella was telling me how he bought one recently and loves it alot. shallow draft too. how does it remain so stable with not much lead in the water?

The Arends 33 is a very cleverly designed yacht, particularly around the skeg, propeller aperature and rudder area.

When you step into the cabin of one you would think you are on a 40 footer.

Some of them had osmosis problems but that is not really such a big deal.

Might be a bit bias but have you looked at a mottle33.
