Hi there sailing people ,

I have a favour to ask ! You don't know me, but I thought you might be intersted in what I am doing and potentially

I am currently building landsailers with a group of at risk kids in west heidelburg

We have just about all we need but still need a couple of windsurfer sails and masts

The sails are the main bit though, the kids are a great bunch and after building school outdoor furniture with me I thought they could do with something fun

If you can help o know anyone wo might be able to help it would be most appreciated

The age of the gear is no big deal these are not super high performance crafts. We are just looking for that gear that has been in the back of the shed untouched for the last 5 years

If you can help in any way please email me at this address

Or call me on 0403599890

You can check out our program at www.handsonlearning.info

Thanks for your time

when I was a kid I drilled a hole in a skateboard deck and put the universal joint from a small sailboard sal through it and had alot of fun.

if you build the right size/weight landyacht for the person who will use it you should be fine. my daughtrs all started sailingaround age 3, one sailed at 2 1/2. fastest daughterat this time is Mirandaat 63kmph. best crash is catherine who sailedfor 100m on her front wheel only at 50kmph before ditching.
cheers paul
