hi all,
i'm toying with the idea of buying into a boat syndicate... (hope that's a good idea)
but i am totally blown away by the management costs in keeping a boat serviced and cleaned, ready for the next member to have his turn.
i think there may be a little bit of taking advantage of the fact there are soooo many people out there getting into boating, doing the same thing, splitting those costs. maybe there is a thought that because the bill is split into 8 or 10 people, they can charge everyone a little bit more...... what do you think??
anyway, i thought i would come on here and ask around, try and find a smaller company, (and definately cheaper) then some of the majors out there.
i would be interested in finding out what the going rate is to berth, clean and maintain their vessel...
i forgot to add, i am looking at the whitsundays....
