I have been mulling over the idea of fitting a removable pannel design to reduce the size of my cockpit for offshore sailing. It's such a large comfy area and because most of our time is spent in sheltered waters I want to keep it as it is but for offshore safety it would be great to fit some panels on a strong frame to reduce the size of the self draining area. Looking at the product range has got me thinking again and hoping some fasteners would be ideal for the purpose. Even better if the panels could be used as the double bed base once the passage is over.

Donk Bought a cushion that had a frame in it I can remember there were a few different lengths and it was possible to lower and raise the back support

his is the seat that HG is referring to in the previous post http://www.comfortseataustralia.com/shop/

They are not cheap but seem to be well made and comfy to sit on with the adjustable backrest angle that goes from flat (to use as cockpit seating when sailing) to around 90 degrees for leaning against

I think that the backrest will adjust to 14 different positions

Regards Don
