Ahh no good. How does it taste. Im about to install a 200L platimo bladder too for drinking.

My water tank is fibreglass and I have used "Tank Cleen" with very good results.

Last clean out was in 2010 and still good

I know this is not your issue but it may help
water in both tanks on my Cav stunk. Pulled both tanks, aluminium, out found small whiteish/yellow coloured pebbles in tanks, told it was calcium, maybe, maybe not. Between the smell, pebbles and the colour of the water I couldnt believe I was drinking this stuff. I drink Reches beer. Cleaned out calcium, filled tanks with water and strong bleach solution let sit for a couple of days, place hose in tanks and let trickle in for about another day, also replaced all hoses with correct type. Smell gone, water clear.
I have a mate who's right into 4wd he put me onto a B.E.S.T. filter from Camec. I now use this filter every time I fill up I also put 1 Milton tablet into the tank, why use Milton? one tablet is a very low dosage rate, it dosen't effect the taste of the water and maybe it will keep the bugs at bay for a bit longer.
2 years on and the water is perfect.

Meantime we use that water for washing up and the shower and take 15L filtered drinking water containers with us. The Aldi ones have a tap that unscrews so you can refill them. Scotch tastes much better with filtered water.

This. We carry drinking water separate, the tanks are used for washing.
i flushed the tanks 4 times from brand new , still have that fibreglass taste. A reverse osmosis filter would be an interesting idea to try.

Scotch tastes much better straight or with a bit of ice!

Scotch is for people who've never had the pleasure of drinking an Irish whiskey.

Here's what works for me and the fibreglass keel tank of my Compass 28 (but of course ymmv):

Run the fill hose for a longish time first to flush out old stagnant water, especially if you're right out the end of the marina, or if it is rarely used, and the weather is warm.
Fit a charcoal filter to the FW pump.
Dose the water with Davey Acquasafe which is specifically designed for drinking water tank treatment.
Fill and then pump out the tank before you fill it again
Flush and scrub out the tank (if there is access!) at least once a year.
Make sure there are no traces of oil or diesel getting in, as the bugs will love it and proliferate.
Run the stagnant water out of the galley tap line for a second or two before you fill your glass.

Doing all this, I can get a couple of months of untainted pleasantly drinkable water in winter, and about 3 or 4 weeks in summer (I'm in Port Phillip).
After that, it gets a bit of fibreglassy taste which is not great for drinking it straight, but is ok for cooking or coffee. And I'm sure it would be much better if the tank was recoated.

My experience is that even with the oil warmed up it would still be easier and quicker with a straw.

Gave Bella an oil change today used a 12 volt oil pump, would have been easier to suck it out with a straw and much quicker, we realized after the fact that the oil was not warmed up enough.
