At some stage soon I would like to replace my sea cocks with the composite ones made in N.Z. and also remove two sea cocks and epoxy the holes up.
The composite sea cock are epoxied in place and become part of the hull.
I intend to use Bote Cote epoxy and wondered how long would the epoxy need to cure before the boat could be put back in the water. As far as painting goes Ill just want to tidy up after the epoxy has cured at this stage

You can paint over the epoxy while its still tacky. Timing is probably based on how long till the paint dries. The strength is more related to how thick the layup is.

Trying to sort out how long Id need to be on the hard for the hemple deck didnt take long at all to go off on a warm day

I personally would not use bote coat to float my Boat. Any way what ever floats yah boat.

Plenty of products out there, i used the west epoxy system to plug the holes when i removed some old sea cocks and replaced them with new ones. Was really easy to work with and came up awesome. Can send u some photos on the weekend if you would like of how i patched the old holes... Just my 2 cents
