Just bought Kapt. Jack's book " Two's a Crew " in ".mobi" format.

Maybe my experience saves a few minutes frustration.

a/ open my mail on iPad, download through shortcut, than click on "Kindle", perfect.

b/ open my mail on laptop, download and copy and paste to desktop, click - open Kindle, perfect

c/ open my mail on HD Desire /Android/, downloaded and that was last time I see the file.
no problem find the file click on it, nothing, forced to Kindle to open it nothing.

=Kindle doesn't support many file formats on Android =

Than download free apps FBReader, told him a location of the file:
mine was located in - /mnt/sdcard/download/Two_s_a_crew, and perfect
It's simple as that. Have fun.

Seems like a lot of fuss when there is a perfectly good e-book reader available which will read all e-book formats and even lets you convert from to another.

MOBI stands for Most Objectionable Bastard Imaginable.

That is what I was trained as in the Navy 46 years ago and still proudly am.
