I have samsung galaxy tablet and works great, sometimes can be a bit hard to see in bright sunlight, i have a waterproof cover for it too
And cheaper then ipads
In case you want to plug in a real GPS puck and charge the battery at the same time and even add a mouse so you don't have to touch the screen with your wet hands. Having a port to run a big screen also would be nice. I sold my tablet and bought another laptop!
Recommend me a good GPS chuck Ramona for my old Dell lappy ,
Mine was to be thrown out at work very slow to power up.
But if you just buy a 120 gb SSD( or a 1TB hybrid drive) and reinstall your windows they work really well.
I took a few out of the trash bin and fixed them up for the guys at work. Dell rides again
