can anyone give me a frame of reference for the cost of a new battened dacron mainsail ? ive go a quote of $1750 for a loose footed main for a 27 ft boat. Seems reasonable, no ??
I just got one in amazingly good condition (like a season old) for $250!!, got a reef put in for about the same. It came off a boat with 17 mainsails, yes 17!!!
