just wondering if anyone had any links or diagrams on how pump action halyards and retrivals are rigged. i know the rs 700's have them but i cant find any info on how they are rigged
The fireballs have a pump spinnaker halyard system , that i am just fitting to my Fireball very simple and easy go to International fireball website look at rigging a fireball it shows you. Or the South Australian Fireball association. If you need to look at one there are now 3 fireballs at Mandurah on the hard stand
yer my dad just bought one of the fireballs in Mandurah, the pump halyard rigged on those don't have the retrieval system that i am looking for however.
If what you are aiming for it to just pull it up fast then you could do the same thing as fireballs and then just have a separate line running in from the shout and maybe set that up as pump as well.
Once upon a time, when dinosaurs roamed the earth and possibly my boat was "new", fireballs used to run kite chutes. They also ran pumps on both the up and down side of the halyard setup.
