Heaps of these threads across the net, but some are really technical and you boys were just talking about it...so here goes. There are so many variables it can get crazy, like type of bulbs..equipment daily draw and all our boats are set up differently. So it's tricky.

Could we do one answer for a simple three day outing on a small yacht ..no fridge no sounder, but just internal lights n radio....and a second answer for a bigger boat with the works on it?

I know it's a case of adding up the daily amp hour draw for each item etc. But a rough size of battery and solar panel on existing boats that works well right now would be a start? I'm just stabbing in the dark to get things rolling really.
