No way for me to demo etc, but just wondering if it would be possible to paddle out lying on the board of 71cm width or will it be too wide? I'm 188cm. My idea is to paddle to the windy area from wind shadow area.

That is only 28 inches so easy. I have paddled my 29 inch wide board 1k back into howling offshore with busted wing. Not enjoyable but easily doable.
