I wonder how that applies when the efoil is unpowered (e.g. a Foil Driver riding a wave)
And how does the Amp board fit in?
*EDIT* AMP does not appear to be impacted because it is using a get not a propeller.

60 meters from swimmers surfers paddle boarders and divers if I’m not mistaken. My take on the query above is that it’s the presence of the motor that dictates the rule not whether you’re using it at the time. This is of course over and above the unwritten rule that it isn’t cool to use motors in areas where people are paddling in. The other mistake I see is people towing where there are people paddling into waves. That’s prohibited, not subject to a distance rule in NSW. These rules are for everyone’s safety, including those on powered craft, so I support people respecting it. Pretty punchy $5000 fine last time I checked. That’s got to hurt.

Yep 60m minimum distance other users like swimmers surfers and paddleboarders. With 60 metres being the closest safest distance, it may not be wise to e foil out and hang on the shoulder of a wave already taken by a "civilian "
