Hi guys,
I was pretty much set on Axis 1010 but now Naish HA 1400 (cheaper for me than Axis) caught my eye and would really appreciate feedback on it.
I'm 80kg x 190cm with 4'10 x 71cm 85L board + 5m Unit. The foil setup I'm looking for should start at 12knots. I like speed, carving and pumping, however, we don't get clean waves, but there's some small chop swell to power the board & foil, and it's this swell power I would like to utilize for carving and gliding.
My current (kite)foil setup is Moses 633 Onda, 1250cm2 low aspect one, and it doesn't pump at all (turns really well), however, I wonder if 1400cm2 Naish would do it for winging, as there's only 150cm2 differential. I fear the 1800cm2 Naish is way too big on the other hand, and speed and turning wise quite a bit slower than the 1400.
The other thing I was looking at Axis is from the feedback that they should be really solid, and not flexing at all. I wonder how's Naish compared to them?
Thanks a lot and stay safe!

I wouldn't discount the HA 1800. We're the same weight and it will be more than fast enough for the conditions you mentioned above. I also have the 2000 and it's a planing machine but when I'm going downwind if it starts to get near belly high I'm on the edge of breaching. With the 1800, I've down some DW'er's in rib high rolling wind chop. No problems at all.
