Something similar to axis 930/980 or Gofoil RS1150/1300 would be great and last a while into your progression. An easy paddling/takeoff board will make a big difference too; can't learn to foil if you don't catch any waves

Board size is my biggest pain point at the moment, I can wing just fine with Armstrong HA wings but I am finding that I can't catch waves. Part of it is the location as i have a 85cm mast, I can't get deep enough into the pocket/white wash. but even when its bigger and breaking deeper, the 35L prone board and (my fitness) struggleTrying to find the best beginner board/ volume. Currently riding an old Naish 5'2 but unsuccessfully
