Been reading these forums for a while without posting and would like to say thanks for all the info you guys pass on. Apologies if my question has been asked a thousand times before. A workplace neck injury has introduced me to Stand Up as rehab and I am loving it. So, any thoughts on a first 14' board for mostly ocean paddling on the mid north coast, NSW. I am on a pretty tight budget so that needs to be a consideration. Also, has any one got thoughts on the Sunny King 14' Ocean Pro Elite at 29" wide. They offer a package of board, paddle, bag, legie etc. for $1499. I would like to get into racing one day but in all honesty that's probably a fair way off. I am 184cm and 100kg (Doc says I need to drop 10-15). Cheers

Thanks DJ. I didn't realise you could pick up the new Glide for that sort of money. After viewing the clips and reading the recent posts on them it doesn't seem like you could go wrong; I will certainly give it some thought. I guess it makes sense not only for resale but also I wouldn't have to upgrade for a long time. I will present your very sound and relevant logic to The Accountant......... when I can catch her in a good mood.

Hay Deanie, i have the 12'6" sunny king pro and its a great board, nick @ sunny king is really helpful and gives great advice for what you want to do.
