looking for some advice on a fast/fastest 14ft for a 120kg + 195cm? Needs stability of course..

i want want speed but don't want to destroy the board in the process. . . . .

Advice appreciated

2014 v3 Naish glide.
not the board for me but it ticks your boxes.

i'm 115kg and 205cm. Get a 14x29" Glide or a 14x28" Allstar. I've got the 29" Glide and love it – super stable, fast if you get forward on it and if you get the GS version quite affordable (well, compared to the GX at least…), can't vouch for the 14x30" Glide though...

14 x 30 Glide if you're a) balance-challenged and b) eat your wheaties (for getting it on/off the car)

The naish sounds the go. . .

Saw the starboard but felt I would destroy it (fragile)

Any thoughts on that one

Both the 14 x 29 and the 14 x 30 would be a good choice. The 14 x 30 has a lot of volume in the rails and nose making it super stable even in the choppiest of conditions.

The Starboards have been getting much stronger, and the green stripe version is pretty much bullet proof. I wouldn't fear destroying it.

The new NSP 14 x 28 is fast and stable. It carries 328L volume and hammers downwind. If you want a reliable, easy to paddle board get the Naish. Just make sure your strong enough to lift it onto the car. Its heavy. Is the primary use flat water, ocean, downwind....?

2014 Starboard Sprint 14 x 28. Very fast on flat water but still stable.
Where are you paddling?

Flat water/river in perth. . . . . My only concern with the starboard was with my weight compressing the board especially around the edges,on the sunken deck (weak point)

Don't be to scared of the construction of aces and sprints. Never had any issues with the top end constructed versions at the edges of the sunken deck.
Saw one older glass version go soft but that's it.

It's the bond between the plastic pipe used for the drain holes and the fibreglass that you need to worry about, in my experience... Hard to get a lasting watertight bond between those two materials.

Anybody come across a 2014 14ft sprint or allstar x 28 (for sale) let me know

its a hard one at my size.

Bark eliminator was was another one but hard to get.

need 2 trial a glide as I've been advised away from but until you try you never really know.

You could also look out for a used 14ft Surftech Bark Laird, or a Surftech JM Latitude 14ft. Both around 30" wide and can handle some weight.
