Dude, Looking at the specs of the 9'5 Mana the max rider weight is 95kg. I had a 9'5 Mana when I was starting out and it is super stable but I'm 85kg. You might want to look at the 9'6 X32 as max rider weight is 109Kg so that might suit you better? Both are 32" wide but I reckon the X32 is better at surfing than the Mana too.

I agree the new 9'6" X32 Hokua would be defiantly worth checking out.. but my 9'1" Hokua is less less stable than my 9'5" Mana.. The Hokua seems chunkier in the rails but the nose is much more pointy with a lot more rocker.. Making it slightly tippier for me.. I'm guessing the Hokua will float you better but the Mana will still be more stable even with water washing over the deck.. I'm 6'4" and normally about 95kg but a little more with my winter coat on.. I'm thinking the 9'5" Mana will be the best option if your main priority is surfing performance but if you're after that extra float and stability along with better flat water paddling ease I'd say go for the bigger 10' Mana.. IMO if you're choosing between the slightly smaller option and the slightly bigger option I'd recommend going the slightly bigger option every time.

If you need the flat water option then the 10' Mana x33" is the one to go for. The x32 has a lot of rocker which is why it will surf better than the Mana but not as good cruising in the flat. Just make extra space in the garage to squeeze in a 10 footer?

I have had 2 9'5 mana's and really liked them both, I'm 104 kg.... and I agree with the others that the 9'5 would not be boarderline for you.

I think that a board you should consider is the Fanatic Allwave 9'10 x 33 at 191 liters.
Super stable, surfs well and very durable.
Not as good a wave performer as the 32LE, which looks awesome.... but it will paddle much straighter and have more comfort in rough water

Plus.... it will probably come in about $800 cheaper than the New Naish 9'6.

Just an option to look at....

Roscoe 1974. Mate just had a quick look around Sup sites re prices and surprised to see that the Mana was at times 200 to 300 dollars cheaper than the Fanatic. Just to add to your thought process.

Cheers for that Crusty. Yep I've noticed similar patterns. Not a huge amount of 9'10 Allwaves around that I can see either? Judging by the previous advice though, the Mana just might be that tad too small for me, and I physically can't manage to squeeze anything into the storage spot that's longer than 9'10 (and that'll be pushing it!). Rented a Naish Odysseus for a couple of days as was thinking about those, but found it just that bit TOO stable (ie. tough to turn etc.). Will keep an eye out for a demo on a 9'10 Allwave I think. Anyone know of a Dealer with a 9'10 to demo around the Brisbane/Sunny Coast/Goldie area?

im 6'2" 105kg have been out to 109kg I've owned the 9'1" x32 2014 and the 9'6" x32 hokua 2015 and the naish 9'6" mana 2015.
if we are going to talk stability the mana ticks the box... next 9'6" then the 9'1" Hokua's….I've had all boards out in 20knt winds.
surf wise, nothing separating the Hokua's 9.6 and 9.1.but both perform way ahead of the mana.
i still own the Hokua's,i moved the mana on, but not because of stability.

Agree I'm 105 kg's and have surfed the 10' mana for a couple of years. Who cares about chucking it around that much anyway. They turn great and the 2015's seem more turntable (paddled one on flat yesterday) and you can get on the nose when the opportunity arises!!!
