Hi all,

I am currently riding the JP 8' 10" Pro 2014. I am thinking of upgrading to the revamped JP 8' 6" Surf Pro 2015. I am 74kgs on a good day! I have had this current board for nearly a year and I am pretty stoked with it in small to overhead conditions. My question is, is it going to be all smiles if I upgrade to the new revamped version or are there downsides (e.g. glide, tippy etc)? I look forward to comments from SUPers currently riding this board. I realise there will be a period of adjustment but I am hoping the payoff will be worth it. Thanks in advance!

Aseela,

You will love the new 2015 8'6" and I bet within a year you will want to get the 8'2". I ride both and I am weighin in at 94kg, the 8'2" at 101L is hard work but is great on the wave and the 8'6" is what I use for 90% of my SUPing. It works great in both small and big waves, you will not be disappointed.
