It's time to buy the Mrs a SUP of her own since she's hooked into it now. Her balance is ok in flat water but horrible in mild chop then again she was learning off my 10' mana on a choppy day lol. Lookin for the better of the 2 for stability, weight, and durability. As for storeage 11' is probably the longest we can go. I know both have the multi channels helping with stability but I secretly want to teach her how to sup surf eventually once she gets the basics down. Any tips from anyone that has demoed both boards would be good. The only time my 10' mana is manageable for her is with a 58sq in JB runner fin lol don't wanna give my 10' mana up yet either. Thanks everyone!

The 9'8" looks fun. I wonder how well it'll do in shore breaks. Probably take it to my friend once it gets beaten up a little and have him glass some FCS quad fin plugs for a super wide poorman "hokua x34"

That could also be an option. Maybe I'll get her a 10' GS or even the soft top version till she can develop better paddling technique without bashing away at the front rails

Well it looks like my Mrs. Has her heart set on my 10' Mana. I don't mind sharing but my eyes are now set on something else. Looking at a 9'6" Hokua x32. Right now our vendor here is willing to cut me a deal on one if I decide to pull the trigger on it. At 170ltrs and me being at a fluctuating 100-105kg I'm kinda wondering how close will this be to my 10' mana as far as surfing and cruising flat water. I'm sure I'll grow into it and want to go smaller or should I go smaller to begin with. Any input from DJ, Tardy, and anyone else that's used a mana and hokua near the same length would be great. Thanks again guys!

Our vendor here won't let us demo any of the products. The main vendor/distributor that supplies our vendor would but they're on a different island
