I've ridden both - ended up buying the Allwave 7'11. The Airborne was fun, but did not catch waves as easily - it just didn't have the same glide factor and was really critical of foot placement. I found the Allwave much more forgiving, but still extremely manoeuvrable. It was definitely more stable and easier to paddle. This is a sick board. I've ridden a lot of boards and this one makes those smaller days an absolute blast, mind you I have also surfed it up to 6 ft - not great at that size, it probably maxes out around 4-5ft. Small wave dream machine - Allwave all the way!

I've only ridden the Airborne 7.10. In fact all 3,both the 7.10's 31.5 and the 30 plus the 7.4 28.5.

They are all great fun as I'm sure the Fanatic is.

To me the question is more about your weight and ability.
The Allwave has about 13 more litres volume so that is going to make it more stable and give a bit more glide, but also corkier if you are lighter!
From memory the Airborne is about 3.4 and will have thinner rails due to less volume but as bigdaz says foot placement more critical,which I also found when I first jumped aboard but soon adjusted.

For what its worth, my wife is exactly your weight at 55 kilos, and we just bought the Fanatic 7'11" for her a few days ago. She absolutely loves the board, and her surfing has improved 100% in the past couple of days. She has ridden half a dozen boards, and this is definitely the one for her. I borrowed it for one small wave, and found it to be extremely loose and playful. She demoed it in the heavier HRS construction and liked it, but we bought the light weight carbon version, and we both feel that it has a much more lively look on the wave. I am sure that you would be happy with the board.

i have an allwave ltd (2015) and have loved the board in the water--warning, tho:

the board is a bit heavier than most top $$ carbon boards

the bond between the paint and the carbon surface underneath is bad--the paint chips aways easily and needs to be sanded well back from any ding repair, let the repair pull off easily, if it overlaps the paint at all.

i ahve found the carbon construction a bit weak--have had to repair many more dingst than i would have expected

now. a year later, i still love riding the board, but it looks awful after numerous repairs---it has never had water in it so, someday, i will restore, repaint, and re-pad the whole thing.

just bought a new starby airborn---the blue carbon is way lighter, and seems more durable, so far

love that board too
