I have recently purchased an Aldi SUP and I never expected the quality to be that of a Naish.
You buy things from Aldi because you're not serious about things.
Although it says up to 100kgs, I wouldn't get one unless i was under 80. (I'm 75)
These are good for young teens/ lighter adults as an entry level to SUPing.
Heres somethings you might want to consider;
* Supplied pump will only get you to 10 of the recommended 15psi. (and that is a workout on its own)
(suggest you purchase a better pump if you're an adult. One with a pressure gauge as it is supplied with one but you have to remove the pump and insert the gauge to check the pressure)
* Its not slick or pretty but holds the air pressure well. And doesn't have CRANE emblazoned across it (PHEW)
* 3 piece paddle has two sizes. approx 180cm, or 150cm (without 3rd extension piece)
* Fins can only be put in and removed when deflated.
* Not designed for larger surf. I wouldn't take this out in anything over 1.5 to 2 ft.
* Comes with a clip on seat for kayak style paddling. IMO they could have left this out and supplied a better pump.
* Can't imagine resale value will be great
All in all, if you only want to part time SUP on flat water ( and they do that fine) for an amazingly cheap price, then go for it.
