I know Cobra specs can be iffy, but I am curious about the actual width of a 14' x 25.5" All Star. I just measured my super stable 2013 AST All Star 12'6" x 26" at the widest point and surprise, it measures all of 27.25". So I had to measure my new less stable 2014 Carbon 14' x 26.5", and surprise again, it measures 26" even. I can't believe that construction tolerances are that far off, meaning the specifications had to be off to start with. The good news is, the 2014 is a great board and it actually weights under the spec weight (that's a first). I going to have to paint over that .5:)

if they aren't moulded construction and come off some type of shaping machine you can lose 1/2 an inch shaping the board up .it depends on how good the cutting was and how one side of the cut blank matches up with the other side. the machines shape one side then its is turned over to do the other

I've got the 14' x 25.5" and I just measured it and I agree with you, it seems to be 25" wide at the most.

Thanks PT, somehow I'm happier knowing my board is only 26" wide:)
