I already own a Hokua 7'8 but are considering buying a Hokua 9'0 as an allrounder board when its a bit bigger or choppier.

I have heard a lot of comments about the lack of stability with the 9'0 in choppy or windy conditions and at 90kg I don't want two boards that are a handful. Most would agree they surf well and paddle well so its just really a question of stability.

The 7'8 is a challenge but after half a dozen sessions on it i'm spending more time above water than in it, and on a wave it is amazing!

My current main board is a 8'6 Luke Short but looking to replace it with something slightly higher performance and more rocker.

Any thoughts from those who may have ridden both boards or even compared to the LSD.

I was hoping to demo a couple of boards when I was over in Aussie but it didn't happen and as you can see the advice on seabreeze is flooding in

Thanks Marcel, thats pretty much what I was thinking. I like the look of the Prowave but they are very pricey here. $400 more than a Hokua and I can get a further reduction also on the hokua. Cheers for your input.
