10' x 32". If you are riding points mainly, mal nose, if beach or reef usually, go pointy nose.

Naish nalu or similar for an all rounder with a mal nose. Starboard wide point / wedge for a pointy nose equivalent.

Plenty of choice for both of this style. I started on a waterborn evoke 10' carbon. Can usually find em pretty cheap.

I got a new carbon evoke, same sup, for my husband when he first got into sup surfing and he loved it and progressed quickly.

Starboard 10' 6" widepoint. Wide enough for you not to fall off all the time while standing waiting in chop and enough glide to catch the smallest waves. Early morning 500mm waves are magic. No need to go out in big things but you still can. You are quite heavy so as you noted volume is important. If you can pick up a carbon one its just a little bit nicer than the pinetec or starlight. Even a Sb whopper is fun. You will quickly want a couple but dont get under 10 ft. 9 6 are great but you need bigger waves and thats frustrating as its lots of effort to get back out and you exhaust yourself then fall in all the time. Cruising in on glassy morning windless days just off your front lawn will be wonderful. SB Blends are ok too but a little less stable but nice to paddle along the beach. I tried a Big Easy but they are just a bit too big .70 and 84 kg is I.

no, 10' or 10'6" is perfect for smaller waves - either way is fine. If anything boards like these are keepers.
