hoe much do you weigh, and what kind of surfing do you do. 2 very different style boards.

at 78 kg the 9.2 may be too big for you and 9.6 allwave will be too big for you. the 8.10 is a great board to surf but im not sure id want to use anything under 9 foot as a paddling board. the rockett paddles well and is good to surf but at 160 odd litres is still bigger than you need. Hmm i think you should try the 8.10 allwave. Its has slightly less volume than the rocket and is shorter and wider. If i weighed under 80 kg i would be on the 8.10 allwave. Take one for a paddle and see if you can live with its flat water paddling ability.

Dont know the Allwave at all but I agree that at your weight the Coreban Rocket is too big. But it would certainly provide lots of glide for both you and the missus.
One you should look at is the new Coreban Performer.
At 9'6" its a very clever combination of width and volume through the centre with a deep cutaway tail to give it great wave riding performance once you step back into surf stance.
Exceptional board for those who are already comfortable on surf or longboards on waves but who still need, or want, paddle stability and/or flat water glide.
