Hi !!! I am new to this forum, and new to SUP. We are a family of three - fit and healthy and energetic and we live on the Sunshine Coast and want to add SUP to our fun time activities. We want to invest in two boards, but there is SOOOOO much information out there that it is hard to make the call .....especially since it is clear that cheap boards are often not the way to go.
We are a family of three - my husband is 6ft5 and around 98kgs, I am 5ft 5 and around 56kgs, and my 10 year old daughter is 35 kgs. We want to paddle the canals and Noosa River and have fun. My husband may do a little sea paddling, but probably not my daughter and I. The idea is that my daughter and I get a board that we can share, and my husband get a larger board (and when we are going as a family, daughter can catch a ride with hubby).
I thought a 9ft8 board would be good for me, and a 10ft - 11ft for hubbie. Would this assumption be correct?
There are two good deals going at the moment....but I know nothing about the boards. Does anyone on this site has an opinon on either of these:

www.thesurfboardwarehouse.com.au/sups/Clearly we are not looking for a top of the range board, but neither do we want to waste money on a "bad" board....
Any opinion or feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers
