looking at a JM 14' Navigator, anyone have any thoughts on these?

Great all round flat water board but not one of the better downwinding boards.. IMO.. How heavy are you?

Thanks DJ, looking for something to use flatwater and also wanting to move into DW, Im around 89kg at this stage but generally 82kg

Should be fine.. but IMO you're at the upper weight limit for this board.. and for DWing it's just a little more technical to use compared to some other boards out there now..

Those quick to red thumb any advise that I offer how about giving your own advise instead.. Just a thought..

I had one for about a year. Very stable, paddles well in flat water and actually surfs pretty good too. I surfed it in shoulder high clean waves once and had a ball. I weigh 100 so you'd be fine in that regard.
