Hey Guys,
Thanks for the feedback. I am looking for something in the 9'6" to 10' range, so I am looking for a bigger board and not a smaller one. I have my 8'6 for that.
Hey Sameh, when you say it is stiffer, I am not looking to shred on this thing, just some smaller turns on smaller mushier surf and to let the wife or friends play on it. Even for me to use in the choppy stuff. Everyone says they are stable and have durable construction which had me really thinking about this one. Is it really that stiff.
I might also have a deal on a stock 9'8" hobie CMLB too. Not the Raw. Again, stable and good construction and not full price. The Jimmy Lewis was just a little more attractive.
easy take off, easy paddling and bulletproof construction in spades with the 9.7. If you just want to play around in little waves it will work fine, its just that compared to the smaller kwads its harder to turn. Its pretty stable at 31.5 inches wide and should be fine for wife and friends. It does work better with a bit of size to the wave.
