Today Jimmy grinds down all the inserts he put in yesterday so they are flush with the board. Then he "caps" over all the inserts, grinds them flat again and hot coats the board.

total magic......i don't even consider doing a repair on my expensive boards these days when you see what the experts can do.....got a "bad board" that I occasionally have to chuck a bit of resin into the dings

These videos do a nice job of giving you an idea, of just how much work and care goes into a quality board.
And nice tips I can use in repairs!
