My wife is looking for an upgrade after getting hooked on catching waves. I said to check out the JL Kwad "most popular SUP on Maui" but I cant see any reveiws here. just wanted to know what you thought.

just hired the 9 Ft version for my bali trip so fingers crossed.

There is been many review in the past but is been quite some time.
The Kwad is really a nice board for anything up to over head. Anything bigger is Mano or Stun Gun.

As you have not received many replies thought I would add my bit. Recently used both the 9'1 (which is slightly larger than my usual ride) & the 8'7. The larger one I found to be a bit of a log - maybe I wasn't heavy enough (I'm about 75kg). Luckily I was able to swap to the smaller one - it was great in waves we had - about 4 ft - which was good enough for me. (I'm an old bloke). Hope this helps. Aioni.

Great review.

I have the 8' 7" JL kwad and am abt 75kg.

The review in my opinion is accurate however I feel the row is better than reported.
