G'day all, Looking for a new paddle for sup surfing. I don't really want to fork out the big dollars for the big name brands if I can avoid it.
I came across the Global Surf Industries Trident large fixed carbon paddle (apparently an 8" blade) on line. Anyone had experience with these? All comments/suggestions welcome.

Spend the extra dollars and get a good brand name paddle. Around $300 plus will get you a surfing paddle.

Have a look at one ocean sup. They seem to have good paddles for a relatively cheap price. If I didn't buy a ke nalu I would be reconsidering one of those.

Yeah I'm resigned to having to spend the $300+.
