I have been riding a 10 ft Laguna Bay for three years of fun but now need to downsize to a lighter, faster & more manouvreable board. I weigh 70 kg and the PSH Ripper reviews look good (thanks also Piros & sorry about the duplicate PM I meant to put it out here on the forum, newby on this!). Am also looking at Naish Hokua and Gerry Lopez 8'10". Any advice on differences in performance for these boards ie. weight, stability, construction, speed and manouvreability on wave. The PSH Ripper has that vent plug thingy - does that mean that if it gets dinged it sucks in water. What differences in performance are there between Rippers normal and wide? Thanks.
