Test drove one and it is hard at 29" wide - get a custom at 30 or 31 wide - you should then have a great board
But then it will not surf very well.
It depends on the waves. A wide board is cumbersome in hollow waves, but adds fun to weak ones.
Disagree with that a 31 inch wide board is way harder to turn than a 29 inch wide board no matter the surf. SUPs are so big any way they perform in small waves. Stability means poor turning simple physics really.
