After one hire session I am all fired up to SUP for fun and fitness.
Initially I will be using it in flat water to learn but hope to ride small waves eventually.

Which do people suggest?
I weigh 105kg's

The Naish 9'8"x 34" gets my vote .. especially at your weight. It's a great board.

Thanks for the input.
That is the way I am leaning.
Just concerned that harder to have it track straight due to shorter nature.

Have had the 9'8" Odysseus which is the same shape as the 9'8" Quest, and it has no troubles tracking a straight line, possibly due to the 4 channels underneath. Great first board

So bought the Naish Quest and have taken it out to Dam.
Doesnt track as well as I would like but I am putting that down to improper techinque as this stage.
Done a 2km paddle without falling off for first attempt. Some practice moving around he board as well.

Winds were probably around 15 km's.
Found able to paddle straight when going accross the breeze on one side but only one or two paddles on other side before turning substainly.
Finaly workout out that was the way the winds and waves were pushing me.

Happy with the board. Store owner upgraded padle to Fanatic 25 opposed to Naish paddle.
Not 100% sure this way way to go but all in all happy with purchase.
