Im weighing in at about 93 kgs (depending on what beers are on special) and 6 ft, fit healthy etc and been surf SUP for a while now. Currently riding a 9 10 with a quad set up but the board was cheap and now looking to upgrade. Looking at the Evoke, in two minds about the 10' or the 9' 2. Has anyone got the 9 2 out there in my weight division and if so how is it, also anyone with a 10 footer also your advice would be great.

Hey Woosher, I have 2 mates who are around 112kg and both ride the 9'2 no worries at all, don't go 10'. I hover round the 93-95kgs and 5'9 and I ride the 7'11 no worries at all. It's my go to board when it's a bit too choppy for my vex.
Im not saying you must drop down that low but if you can have a go of one you might be happily surprised. They turn really well. Here's an old video I made where I'm in the 7'11 and one mate is on his 9'2. Pretty gutless 1-2' waves but still had a ball. If you're near the Sunshine Coast we could meet up and you could try my 7'11. Let me know mate. Cheers Whitey.
